The primary purpose of a computerized maintenance management system is to manage and track inspection, maintenance and repair activities.

N.D. Pond, Inc. utilizes CMMS in order to ensure that preventative maintenance is performed in accordance with individual equipment O&M manuals and at the manufacture's recommended frequency.

The computer software package maintains a database of information related to a utility's maintenance activities.  Work orders which include specific task instructions, required tools and specific safety instructions related to the task are generated weekly.
